Jason is one of the most exciting young players in Australia. Growing up in Newcastle, New South Wales, Sangha has great success in underage cricket representing Australia in the under 19 World Cup. Jason would captain the side which would finish second place to India scoring 229 runs with a highest score of 88. Jason was also awarded a rookie contract now full contract with Cricket NSW for his outstanding performances as a young cricketer. The success would continue with Jason hitting his maiden first-class hundred against England at the age of 18, becoming the second youngest player to score a first-class century against England. Jason has since scored 2 first-class hundreds, 2 fifties as well as 2 T20 fifties for Sydney Thunder all at the age of 20.
