In 2014, Nick made his international debut in limited overs cricket, playing two matches for Ireland against Sri Lanka A. Three months later, Nick made his Sheffield Shield debut against Victoria in Melbourne on the back of a mammoth season in Sydney's grade cricket competition scoring 1055 runs at 42.20 for Sydney University. Larkin has amassed a total 11954 runs at 40.80 throughout his career and has taken the field for the Melbourne Stars as well as Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League.
